Management & Supervision Certificate Program

The constantly evolving climate of today’s organizations demands that managers be more adept than ever at communicating, solving problems, and defusing conflict. The University of Miami Management and Supervision Certificate Program focuses on the knowledge and attributes needed to reach this plateau of effectiveness and success at the managerial level. Students will heighten their skills in key areas such as negotiating, motivating others, employing facilitation methods for conflict resolution, and identifying cultural diversity that may impact a manager’s communication style. By honing these proficiencies, workers in a leadership position will not only strengthen their own performance standards but be able to successfully appraise the performance of their employees as well.

This program is offered through the Office of Professional Advancement at the University of Miami and is eight weeks in length. The price for the course is $3,495, plus the cost of textbooks (approximately $367).
