Sales/Service Representative – Eastern Iowa

Location: Eastern Iowa (Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Davenport, Dubuque, Waterloo)
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends required)
About the Position
Aire-Master of the Heartland, a trusted name in commercial scent marketing and odor control, is seeking a motivated and reliable Sales/Service Representative to join our Eastern Iowa team. The territory includes Davenport, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque.
This is a hands-on position combining sales growth and route service. The ideal candidate is self-driven, dependable, and ready to take ownership of their territory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cold calling and prospecting to expand Aire-Master’s customer base
- Servicing, maintaining, and installing deodorizing and scent-delivery equipment at customer sites
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Completing route reports and maintaining accurate inventory accountability
- Performing light vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, cleaning, to be done by a service company)
- Ensuring company standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism are met
Reporting
Employees report directly to the owner of Aire-Master of the Heartland.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience is mandatory
- Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record required
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check
- Able to lift 30–40 lbs
- Comfortable driving long distances (typically not more than 90 minutes) between accounts
- Able to safely and comfortably climb an 8-foot ladder when installing or servicing equipment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay plus commission (commensurate with experience)
- Expected to add 3–5 new accounts per week (~$500–$1,000 in recurring 4-week service revenue)
- Use of a company-provided vehicle for work purposes only (no personal use)
- 6 paid holidays per year
- Paid time off (PTO) accrual program
- No health insurance benefits at this time
Work Location & Vehicle Policy
Applicants should ideally live in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City corridor, but it is not required.
The company vehicle must be picked up and parked daily at a designated company storage facility. Personal use of the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
