American Prime is an ag-tech company using AI, satellite imagery, and drones to deliver actionable insights for producers. We’re seeking a Remote Sensing Specialist to help process and analyze vegetation indices and manage AWS-based data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and process imagery from multiple satellites.
- Compute vegetation indices and QA metrics in Google Earth Engine and Python.
- Manage datasets and automate workflows on AWS S3.
- Collaborate with data science and agronomy teams to generate insights.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Earth Engine, Python, R, GeoPandas, or rasterio.
- Understanding of vegetation indices and agricultural applications.
- Familiarity with AWS, Python, and remote sensing workflows.
