Part-time contractual Project Manager position in the City Manager’s Office.
The City of Laramie is the recipient of a federal transit planning grant award for the development of a 10-year strategic plan for public transportation in Laramie/Albany County.
City’s Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of grant and contract activities for a period of twelve to fourteen months through February 2026. Project Manager will drive the project to timely completion through collaboration with the City’s partner agencies comprising the Albany County Transportation Authority. Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project schedule and delivery, including grant compliance, contract management, and reporting.

•Coordinate, implement, and oversee grant and contract activities.
•Manage all aspects of the Transit Planning grant-funded project, including developing and administering project procedures and activities.
•Execute project schedule; formulate, recommend, and implement changes as needed to meet project deadlines and compliance objectives.
•Prepare written and/or verbal reports on project performance.
•Manage and administer project budget.
•Interpret and assure compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as they pertain to the project and grant guidance.
•Collaborate with key stakeholders and consultant(s) and build strong working relationships to deliver project on-time.
•Design and present professional presentations pertaining to the project.
•Serve as a key liaison with granting agency, stakeholders, and other groups.
