Cornerstone Bistro in Wayne, PA is looking for recent culinary graduates or culinary certificate holders who are looking to build their career in upscale hospitality. We are willing to train those interested in any area of the business, but as a chef owned restaurant are particularly interested in candidates with some culinary knowledge and/or kitchen experience. Our business is growing and we are excited to bring on new talent to join our close knit team.
About Cornerstone:
Cornerstone began in the fall of 2015 when Christine & Nicholas Kondra, a husband and wife team, returned home after spending 10 years in Boston & Nantucket. Christine worked as a private chef and at a restaurant owned by the famed chef partners Jamie Bissonnette & Ken Oringer. Nick worked his way up on the Nantucket & Boston restaurant scene, including at the famed Straight Wharf Restaurant (Nantucket) & Ten Tables in Harvard Square. Upon returning in Jan ’14, Nick became the pasta chef at Amis under the well respected Brad Spence & Marc Vetri.
Cornerstone has quickly become one of the most sought after restaurants in the Philadelphia area after 10 years focusing on amazing guest experience and pairing food with an award winning wine and cocktail program. The restaurant has garnered many regional and national awards from Wine Spectator including Christine Kondra as Best Sommelier on the Mainline of Philadelphia.
