Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit entities
- Prepare tax projections and other tax planning engagements
- Conduct tax research and prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
- Assist with responses to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
- Engage in consulting and special projects as may be requested by Managers and Partners
Skills & Qualifications
- CPA licensure preferred but not required
- If not currently licensed, active pursuit of CPA licensure is required
- Prior experience in public accounting preferred
- Experience with compilations and review of financial statements a plus
- Excellent time management, accounting, analytical and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Sound knowledge of QuickBooks
