Medical Assistant | Cosmetic Dermatology

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our premier cosmetic dermatology practice. The ideal candidate serves as a vital bridge between clinical excellence and luxury service. You will support our providers in delivering transformative aesthetic treatments while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and valued.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence
• Procedure Support: Prepare patients for examinations and cosmetic procedures; assist providers during treatments with precision.
• Surgical Standards: Execute setup and breakdown for procedures using strict sterile techniques and OSHA-compliant sterilization protocols.
• Documentation: Accurately capture patient medical history, treatment notes, and consent forms within the EMR system.
• Clinical Photography: Manage high-quality before-and-after photography to track patient progress.
• Patient Education: Confidently provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.
Patient Experience & Operations
• Clinic Flow: Efficiently room patients and manage the daily schedule to ensure a seamless, “white-glove” experience.
• Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, and patient portals, providing timely and professional responses.
• Aesthetic Advocacy: Assist with retail skincare recommendations and maintain a deep knowledge of our product lines to support patient goals.
• Administrative Support: Assist with appointment scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring treatment rooms are pristine and fully stocked.
Qualifications
• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Experience: Previous experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with EMR systems and digital photography.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a professional, calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
