The Diocese of Greensburg is currently seeking passionate, Christ-centered, people-focused leaders to serve as Regional Directors of Youth Ministry and Discipleship. This key position supports and advances our diocesan mission by overseeing and coordinating formation and youth ministry processes across multiple parishes.

As a Regional Director, you will lead, teach, inspire, and create lasting spiritual impact with youth, teens, and adults. You will work closely with parish and diocesan leadership to implement engaging and effective faith formation initiatives for junior high youth, senior high youth, and young adults.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep love for the Catholic faith, strong leadership skills, and a desire to empower individuals and families to build vibrant domestic churches and grow as missionary disciples.

The Diocese is dedicated to helping families deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and live out their Catholic faith more fully. Guided by the vision of our Bishop, we are committed to building creative, experiential pathways for faith formation and discipleship rooted in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Our collaborative and mission-driven culture reflects our deep commitment to both spiritual growth and serving the people of God.

This is a calling. Join us in shaping the future of the Church by helping others encounter Christ in meaningful, transformative ways.

Qualified applicants for the Regional Director positions must:

  • Be a practicing Catholic in good standing (a registered member of a Catholic parish faith community).
  • Believe and profess the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and be able to promote and proclaim them.
  • Have familiarity with various models of catechetical formation and youth ministry models.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive to multiple locations with self-provided reliable transportation.
  • Have Advanced Certification or the equivalent in the Diocese of Greensburg or make a commitment to complete the certification within 24 months of employment.
  • Successfully pass Criminal Background Checks and complete Safe Environment requirements for the Diocese of Greensburg and maintain this clearance.

The position is full-time exempt. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this position. The Regional Director will have office and storage space at multiple locations.

The salary is based on qualifications and experience. The Diocese of Greensburg offers generous health, vision, and dental benefits. The Diocese of Greensburg offers paid Holy Days/holidays, paid time off (PTO) and a matching 403b retirement plan.
