Marketing/ Brand Advocate Internship Opportunity Fall Semester 2025

Who We Are

DMAX Foundation is an impact organization whose mission is to create connections and conversations that matter to strengthen mental health and emotional well-being for young people on college campuses.

We accomplish this through our signature program DMAX Clubs . The Clubs create an environment where students get together to talk about how they are doing, how their friends are doing, and how they can help each other.

Position Description

DMAX Foundation is seeking a student for a unique internship that will use communications, relationship-building, business and marketing skills to help build a meaningful, grassroots organization on college campuses, and to further the outreach goals of DMAX Foundation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission with excellent communication, marketing and administrative skills.

Our Brand Advocates (called “DMAX Diplomats”) are a group of representatives who assist DMAX Foundation with Club recruitment and student outreach through relationship-building and on-campus events. They are brand advocates who assist with the recruitment and establishment of DMAX Clubs on Priority Campuses in a specific geographic area through the following activities:

  • Hosting an informational tables on Priority Campuses through the semester
  • Compile mailing lists and sign-in sheets for interested students looking to participate in DMAX
  • Outreach to campus students, faculty and departments to network and connect interested parties to DMAX Foundation.
  • Take photos and video at on-campus events to provide to DMAX Foundation for social media assets.
  • Host a “Day Out With DMAX” event at a centralized location where 10-15 interested students can meet one another and connect to the DMAX mission.

  • Thorough and detail oriented
  • Able to travel to on-site locations for tabling and networking events
  • Comfortable with networking and public speaking
  • Highly organized
  • Achievement- and outcomes-driven
  • Excellent social media skills
  • Proficient Google and/or Microsoft Suites skills

Benefits

If your school allows it, this internship is available for college credit. Students may receive course credit for the internship. Students seeking this option should inquire with their academic advisor. Interns will receive a $500 stipend at the end of the semester.

Location

Hybrid opportunities in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, Delaware, and Maryland

Time Frame – Flexible – 4 months, 8 months, 12 months

  • Internships available for Spring, Summer and Fall semesters- open to continue up to full year
  • 10 – 15 hours per week
  • Flexible start and end dates year-round

Employment Trends

The number of jobs in the career for the past two years, the current year, and projections for the next 10 years. Job counts include both employed and self-employed persons, and do not distinguish between full- and part-time jobs. Sources include Emsi industry data, staffing patterns, and OES data.

    Education Levels

    The educational attainment percentage breakdown for a career (e.g. the percentage of people in the career who hold Bachelor’s Degrees vs. Associate Degrees). Educational attainment levels are provided by O*NET.

    Annual Earnings

    Earnings figures are based on OES data from the BLS and include base rate, cost of living allowances, guaranteed pay, hazardous-duty pay, incentive pay (including commissions and bonuses), on-call pay, and tips.

    Technical Skills

    A list of hard skills associated with a given career ordered by the number of unique job postings which ask for those skills.

      Core Competencies

      The skills for the career. The "importance" is how relevant the ability is to the occupation: scale of 1-5. The "level" is the proficiency required by the occupation: scale of 0-100. Results are sorted by importance first, then level.
