Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a system administrator role
Strong understanding of server hardware and operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration
Experience with virtualized infrastructure, including Hyper-V and VMware
Familiarity with AppDynamics or similar performance monitoring tools
Technical writing experience, including system architecture and design documents, installation and configuration guides, and troubleshooting guides
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with server application migration
Ability to work independently
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our client server and application infrastructure, including Active Directory and Group Policy, Hyper-V, and VMware, and be involve enterprise server application migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration and a proven track record of delivering highly available and scalable server and application solutions.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, provide recommendations and improvement for server and application infrastructure, including Active Directory and Group Policy, VMware, and server application migration
Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications
Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V and virtual desktops
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, installation and configuration guides, and troubleshooting guides
Develop and maintain server and application security protocols and procedures
Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure that server and application requirements are incorporated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications
Participate in the testing and deployment of server and application solutions
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the server and application infrastructure
