Job Summary:
- Responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of the patient, utilizing the nursing process, participates in patient and family education and directs the activities of the ancillary personnel.
Education Requirement:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensure Requirement:
- Current Licensure as a RN in the State of West Virginia
Experience Requirement:
- Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ conditions, symptoms, and responses
- Develop nursing care plans based on findings
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment plans
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and plans in EHR or medical charts.
