About Makeable
Makeable is a San Francisco based company backed by Afore Capital. We are building tools that help people turn an idea into a real physical product. The long term goal is a simple path from an idea to a 3D model, compatible parts, clear build instructions, code, manufacturing, and sharing.
The role
This is a paid, full time, 12 week internship for a Growth and Content Intern. You will work directly with the founders to help people understand Makeable, try it, and want to share what they create.
What you will do
Create clear, high quality content for Makeable across social media, short video, product storytelling, and community channels.
Turn product builds, user ideas, and founder learning into useful stories people want to watch and share.
Improve how Makeable explains the product on the website, in onboarding, and through product demos.
Talk to users and creators, learn what resonates, and use that feedback to improve content and growth experiments.
Help shape the visual quality and voice of the company across every public touchpoint.
What we are looking for
Strong taste in visual design, product storytelling, and internet content.
Examples of content, design, community work, or products you have helped make.
Clear writing, initiative, and the ability to turn rough ideas into polished work.
Interest in creator tools, physical products, design, or consumer technology is a plus.
You do not need to have done every kind of growth work before. We care about judgment, taste, and doing the work.
Location and pay
San Francisco is preferred. We are also open to remote candidates in the United States or Singapore, and to candidates who can relocate to San Francisco. Visa support may be considered. Pay is USD 3,000 to USD 3,500 per month. Strong interns may be considered for a full time role after the internship, with compensation and equity discussed then.
