Nokkomo Mints is a fast-growing consumer packaged goods brand that scaled to national retail in under two years, currently available on Amazon and Walmart.com. We are hiring a Fall 2026 Marketing Intern to join our high-output team.

This is a hands-on role built for students who want real ownership inside a high-growth startup, not passive observation. We have completed two successful internship cohorts with students from UCLA, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, USC, and more, and several alumni have used the experience to land competitive full-time roles. You will work directly with the founders and marketing team on projects that move the business.

This internship is unpaid and academic-credit eligible. We are happy to work with your school to sign off on the credit hours where applicable.

Term: September 14, 2026 through late December 2026 (wrapping up around the holidays)
Commitment: about 10 hours per week, fully remote
Focus: marketing

Expected Responsibilities

  1. Create social content for a national CPG brand across Instagram, TikTok, and related platforms
  2. Conduct market research across consumer trends, retail channels, and competitive positioning
  3. Support fall and holiday marketing campaigns and seasonal activations
  4. Help with outreach to marketing publications, media outlets, and content creators
  5. Track campaign performance and report findings to the marketing team

Essential Skills

  1. Strong written and verbal communication
  2. Social media content creation and platform fluency (Instagram, TikTok)
  3. Research and analytical thinking
  4. Organization and ability to manage multiple projects independently
  5. Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment

Minimum Requirements

  1. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
  2. Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  3. Available part-time for the full term, September 14 to late December 2026
  4. Reliable remote work setup and self-directed work ethic
  5. Demonstrated interest in CPG, consumer brands, or startups (coursework, projects, or experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience with social content or marketing projects
  2. Familiarity with CPG, retail, or e-commerce
  3. Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or analytics dashboards
