Job Description:
O.E. Meyer Co., a 100% Employee-Owned Company, is looking to add a motivated, energetic Inside Sales Representative to our Columbus, OH branch. You will be responsible for assisting customers, answering incoming phone calls, assisting the outside sales team, rotating inventory and operating a tow motor. You must work effectively and efficiently in a team environment with minimum supervision and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and employees. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business.

Responsibilities:
- Customer Service responsibilities
- Assist with walk-in customers
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Assist Outside Sales Team
- Assist with merchandising and retail displays
- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain stock levels for hard goods and cylinders
- Maintain and help with upkeep of company facilities
- Unload and reload transfer trucks
- Help drivers with preparing and loading trucks
- Safely operate a forklift and hand trucks
- Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders.
- Coordinate ETA with Drivers and Customers
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.[NH1]
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Welding or compressed gas experience is a plus
- Ability to load and unload cylinders (experience preferred, but not required)
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Capable of lifting weights of up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering weights of up to 100 lbs.
- Experience in routing or logistics is a plus
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Knowledge of Safety Protocols
