Job Application: Party Decor Prep Assistant
Location: Pinellas Park, FL
Compensation: Starting at $17/hour + tips and $0.65/mile (if using your vehicle)
About the Job:
Are you creative, organized, and ready to help bring party visions to life? The Party Pond is looking for a Prep Assistant to join our team! This is a part-time, flexible position that depends on the number of events we have each week. During busy seasons, like graduation season, more hours may be available.
Responsibilities:
- Prep Work: Assist at the shop with preparing decor, such as balloons, backdrops, and party essentials (at least one day per week, sometimes more).
- Event Setup: Help with weekend event setups when needed.
- Creative Tasks: Use your artistic eye to help create beautiful, eye-catching designs.
- Lifting & Loading: Be able to lift and transport decor items as needed.
- Travel: If using your vehicle, you’ll receive mileage reimbursement of $0.65/mile. Having an SUV is a bonus for transporting larger decor items!
Requirements:
- Located near Pinellas Park is ideal (but not required).
- Must have reliable transportation (SUV preferred).
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items and work efficiently.
- A creative mindset and attention to detail.
