Research Opportunities at the UM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has an active research enterprise comprised of both clinical and basic science research. Faculty and staff are engaged in projects related to depression and bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, HIV/AIDS, aging, schizophrenia, neuroscience, cancer, children and adolescents, substance abuse, medication adherence, memory and cognition, genomics and much more.
