For the kick-off event on March 16th of our two-part ‘2021 Spring into Service’ series we had an “Intro to Service” focus including a group panel discussion regarding how service-driven networks are making a difference on current social issues in communities around the US, and what’s changed due to the pandemic. This was created as a collaborative effort set to engage students, alumni and more in discovering and preparation for career pathways to make their impact on the world through service.
Participating organizations included multiple branches of national AmeriCorps programs: City Year, Florida VISTA Network, National Health Corps, National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) & FEMA Corps, Public Allies, and Teach for America. Also joining was the internationally known Peace Corps and national service group Repair the World. For more information and/or questions, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
