Cane2Cane (C2C) is a career and mentorship network coordinated by the University of Miami’s Toppel Career Center. The Cane2Cane mission is to connect current UM students and alumni with each other for opportunities to explore career paths, prepare for the workplace, and establish new connections in their network.
Students can join C2C to seek mentorship and advice from UM alumni, faculty/staff, and friends of the U across 60+ industries worldwide. The “Community” page allows you to filter mentors by various categories, including location, industries, help/discussion topics, and more!
C2C allows UM alumni to network with one another and serve as a mentor and/or find other mentors. As an alumni mentor, you have the flexibility to decide how you’d like to engage with UM students and fellow alumni in Cane2Cane, such as sharing industry trends, discussing work/life balance, helping with resume or interview prep, sharing insight on how to navigate identities in school and the workplace, and more!
