The Inpatient Rehab units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries.
Inpatient Rehab is a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists and specialists.
Inpatient Rehab is expanding to two units with a total of 40 beds by the end of 2024 through a more than $10 million capital investment. With the expansion, we will participate in the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Model System and accept higher acuity patients.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan. Experience working with SCI and TBI population is preferred.
