Sales – Business Development Representative

The ideal candidate is based in Florida with connections to the area and willingness to be mobile. Candidate is a highly organized self-starter with a passion for client engagement and networking.
This role will work across all areas of the company, interface with team members and be supported in their journey to success. In this position, you will be generating leads, marketing yourself and the firm through traditional and new media methods, and networking within the industry. Utilizing technology, candidate will develop relationships throughout the healthcare space to drive opportunities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Learn the healthcare risk products, industry history and marketplace
- Visit medical practices, healthcare organizations frequently
- Utilize social media including LinkedIn to build a brand
- Develop strong relationships with insurance company personnel
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team to execute on strategic plans
- Build a client base through determination and perseverance
- Follow up on introductions and leads generated by company programs
- Attend industry events virtually and in-person
Experience & Skills Required
- No previous experience required
- Driver’s license, ability to drive throughout South Florida
- Self-motivation
- Understanding of social media management
- Highly resourceful and goal-oriented
- Outstanding communication skills
- Knowledge of the creative process
- Knowledge of basic email software
- Microsoft Office proficient – Excel, Powerpoint, Word
- A collaborative creative thinker that can work as part of a team.
