Role:
TAB technicians ensure that air and hydronic systems are operating as per design and meet specifications outlined by the design professional of record and project documents. With the right academic background, and after being with us for one year, a technician can seek certification to enhance not only their capabilities but also their salary by getting certified as a CT or CP with NEBB.
Under our senior staff members, incoming technicians will become familiarized with theoretical and practical aspects of HVAC fluid flow systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively participate in our technician training program to become familiar with technical, cultural and customer satisfaction aspects of our firm
- Assess mechanical systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications, and troubleshoot problematic systems
- Test the performance of air and hydronic systems, using company-provided tools and test equipment, such as Pitot tubes, Manometers, Anemometers, Velometers, Tachometers, Psychrometers, and Thermometers, to isolate problems and determine necessary adjustments.
- Prepare for each project by conducting a system design review and assembling of the required reporting documents for delivery to the end-user(s)
- Maintain logs of daily activities and prepare punch lists for our clients outlining any issues discovered that need rectification
