Recent College Graduate ( Architect: Non-License) – P/T
This position reports directly to the Project Architect or Project Manager and is primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and project documentation throughout all phases of the design build process. This position prepares scientific reports and presentations, as well as interacting directly with clients. This position may require working with project teams comprised of professionals from around the world and a weekly time commitment of sixteen to twenty (16 – 20) hours per week (Hybrid / Remote).
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings for schematic design and contract documents
- Assist design team with programming and space planning activities
- Assist with the production and management of RFIs. Amendments and addenda
- Assist with the production and management of construction permits and as-builts
- Research building and construction products, materials, and codes
- Compile data and perform design computations
- Participate in various client and/or company meetings and events as assigned
- Perform non-drafting related office tasks as assigned
Job Skills & Abilities Guidelines
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suites
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Functions effectively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to travel up to 20% of work week
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a four (4) year degree in a related field
- Zero to three (0 – 3) year architectural work experience a plus
