An Information Technology Auditor participates in the audit, analysis, and testing of information technology controls across all layers of computing environments such as physical, operating system, database, network, and application layers as well as end-user processes and security. The computing environments range from cutting-edge cloud computing models to shared service data centers and consortiums to individual client-server and midrange and mainframe environments. This position’s responsibilities include installing, administering, developing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting Microsoft SQL instances. Responsibilities also include knowledge and use of SQL Server management tools, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), data warehousing, and third-party management tools. Additional skills will include debugging, diagnosing and solving technical problems, and updating documentation when necessary. A minimum of 2 years work experience in managing and administering Microsoft SQL Server instances is preferred.
