This job is for a talented individual interested in working at a nonprofit social justice organization. The Development and Operations Assistant will take pride in helping maintain and strengthen the Center’s operations in an efficient, productive, and well-managed fashion. This person will also be responsible for assisting with fundraising and grants administration.
Key Features of this Job:
- Assist in preparation of reports and other related functions for government, philanthropic and other contracts and grants;
- Assist in all aspects of human resources administration, including employee benefits;
- Support all administrative affairs of the agency, including insurances, equipment, and facility maintenance;
- Provide data entry and analysis; other assistance to development and communications staff;
- Help agency staff with information technology (I.T.) needs.
Essential Job Qualifications:
- An AA, BA, BS, or higher degree in any of the following or related fields: business management, nonprofit administration, human resources management, computer science;
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated successful experience in two or more of the following: data management, human resources administration, information technology, general administration, business management;
- Excellent data management capabilities;
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others;
- Strong organizational abilities;
- Great attention to detail and pride in being accurate and timely.
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time, non-exempt, 37.5 hours/week
Salary and Benefits: Salary $37,000-$42,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include: medical, dental, and vision insurance; voluntary employee retirement plan; paid vacation and holiday leave; reimbursed travel and educational expenses
Location: Hybrid; Office in Los Angeles/Koreatown
