Join the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law team and find yourself in the midst of some of the most challenging social justice issues of our time: inequality, domestic violence and the well-being of low-income children, surrounded by a community of knowledgeable, supportive co-workers and volunteers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate 150+ volunteers who provide 7,000+ volunteer hours each year
- Manage the ongoing onboarding, training, and education of volunteers and students, including advertising
- Assist in the development of new training programs
- Maintain detailed databases and reports regarding volunteers
- Oversee scheduling of volunteers and staff supervisors
- Public speaking and special projects
- And more!
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Adept with current digital technology (especially Excel)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Two-year college degree OR GED equivalent and three years relevant work experience
Desired but not required:
- Experience with video editing, Canva, and an email marketing database (such as Constant Contact)
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time, Exempt
Salary and Benefits: $40,000 – $50,000 DOE. Benefits include: medical, dental, and vision insurance; voluntary employee retirement plan; paid vacation and holiday leave; reimbursed travel and educational expenses; professional development.
Location: Hybrid; Office in Los Angeles/Koreatown
