REPORTS TO: Huntington Theatre House Manager
The Huntington is looking to expand its Front of House Operations Team! Come join our team of Ushers, Ticket Takers, and Bartenders at two of Boston’s World Class Performance Venus. Staff is expected to work 2-3 shifts per week, and all shifts are paid at a 3-hour minimum. Everything you need to know can be taught through training (minimum experience required). The only requirement is a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and keeping our patrons at the heart of the theatre by providing support and services before, during, and after their theatre-going experience. All Front of House Staff have access to comp tickets offers to shows in all Huntington-operated venues.
Job Qualifications
JOB DUTIES:
- Welcomes and greets patrons.
- May operate the concession bar.
- May operate the coat check.
- Scan/check tickets.
- May need to move furniture to prepare or change lobby space.
- May hand out programs, help seat patrons both before the show starts and once the show has started.
- May answer basic questions patrons have about the theatre and future productions.
