Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise IT service management (ITSM), IT operations management (ITOM), and business process automation.
- Lead all phases of ServiceNow application development, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform and integrate ServiceNow with other third-party services.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications and project plans.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Provide advanced support and guidance to other ServiceNow developers and administrators, including mentoring and leading development teams.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in database and application design, scripting, and security standards.
- Continuously evaluate industry trends and recommend solutions that will enhance productivity and the functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, including experience leading projects or teams.
- Proficient in JavaScript and other scripting languages supported by ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and IT business management (ITBM).
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator; ServiceNow Application Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Advanced certifications in ServiceNow such as Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Application Specialist.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap) and front-end frameworks (AngularJS, React).
