Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for location sales and gross profit, customer service, sales effectiveness, territory growth and inventory management. The Sales Manager will remove obstacles and continuously improve processes which will enable outside sales/customer service to accomplish our business objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with sales leadership to create and deliver annual volume and profit targets.
- In alignment with business goals and sales objectives, provide input around pricing strategies and incentives.
- Conduct review sessions with key accounts and maintain key account relationships.
- Analyze sales and profit performance, with awareness of pricing strategies and expense management impact.
- Work with the product managers to achieve specific key product revenue targets.
- Work closely with suppliers and their local representatives to assist us in achieving our revenue and purchase goals.
- Help determine local marketing strategy and support needs.
- Recognize product training needs and coordinate to ensure sales team is prepared and capable.
- Hiring, training, reviewing, and mentoring of OSR’s
- Hold a monthly meeting sales staff, find ways to improve sales and margin, help each other hit budgets, improve communication, learn from each other how to solve problems, etc.
- Develop goals for OSR Sales & GP
- Regularly track, analyze and communicate performance against goals.
- Act as main point of contact between sales and purchasing.
- Deliver sales forecast to senior management.
- Review Registry Report
- Ensure all OSR’s are properly trained on products, services and systems
- Performance reviews OSR’s
- Create and maintain sales department policies and procedures
- Review Pricing Records
- Build an aggressive sales environment while ensuring the team operates within our guiding principles
Requirements
- Ability to understand sales strategies, communicate plans, and drive execution
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to drive results, conveying a sense of urgency, and driving issues to closure
- Leadership skills, particularly the ability to drive results

- Well developed capabilities in problem solving and conflict resolution

- Microsoft Office including hosting presentation
