Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Organizes supplies, materials or equipment and sets-up equipment for laboratory experiments or demonstrations; may perform minor equipment maintenance. Operate laboratory and experimental equipment such as microtomes, microscopes, electron microscopes, spectrophotometers, centrifuges, analytical balances, photometers and spectrometers; makes minor repairs and makes arrangements for major repairs to be performed.
- Collects and maintains data and/or specimens using basic laboratory techniques. Must have bioinformatic skills for mega data analysis. Will be assisting PI for review articles so must have great writing skills.
- Aides investigator or senior lab members with routine preliminary data analyses; maintains research data in laboratory notebook, inputs data into computer software (RedCap) writes summary reports and reports findings to investigator. Presentation of the results by using PowerPoint.
- Organize and keeps laboratory area clean.
- Attend regular laboratory meetings.
EXPECTED SALARY:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate area of specialization or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written, oral communication and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of research and laboratory equipment appropriate to the area of the assignment.
